Blue Northern Energy is revitalizing the biodiesel market. BNE's objective is to create a sustainable and rewarding biofuel production market throughout the United States. BNE integrates the most recent technology advances, refining procedures and innovative minds to develop sustainable and profitable biodiesel production centers. BNE provides guidance and solutions to organizations and communities in their endeavors to establish new biodiesel production facilities or retrofitting existing centers to make them sustainable and successful. Through its work and proficiency BNE, distinguishes itself as the leader in the eco-friendly energy field.
Blue Northern Energy (BNE) has obtained a special innovation for producing biodiesel fuel. The Quicksilver Biodiesel Technology (QSB) is a continuous biodiesel production process by the trans-esterification of vegetable oils. Multiple feedstocks might be used, allowing the most affordable expense feedstocks to be utilized. The ability to customize the procedure continuously, as the feedstocks change by modulating the other reactants to the procedure rather than changing batch dishes, makes it an extremely versatile and more effective process. The process also allows a reduction in capital cost of approximately 40% and a reduction in operating cost through lower energy cost of up to 30%. These benefits of the innovation have actually been confirmed through a 3rd party evaluation finished by the Center for Process Innovation.
The QSB technology has been thoroughly checked at the pilot plant in Budapest, Hungary. Feedstocks from Europe along with the USA have been shown, both separately as well as blends.

Developing and improving the innovation is a high concern for BNE, and essential to our global expansion strategies. In order to support this, BNE will be establishing a new Innovation Center located next to the very first biodiesel plant in Newton, Illinois. The center will have the ability to demonstrate future feedstock processing and perform extensive fuel quality measurements for BNE plants and speculative samples.
It is the administrator of the BN National Trail center from concept, advancement, construction to management. This center exemplifies the innovative innovation of BNE and production procedure that utilized multiple crops, edible and non-edible, for sustainable, high quality and successful biodiesel production.
BNE's staff will increase to support this technology program. A senior chemical procedure professional will be brought on board to carry out mass and energy balance calculations and design the chemical procedure for sophisticated feedstocks.
